The gumshoes tried to tell This Banana Guy that compiling year end lists is an exercise in futility but here we are. This (clearly) already flawed subscribers only list mix seeks to distill Ghostropolis’ favorite releases from 2024 in order (save Jeff Parker’s extraordinary IVet lp The Way Out of Easy not included here as the four ~20 minute tracks are compelling taken as a whole and should definitely be listened to before or after this mix). Plenty of albums that should have made this list and I’m already discovering albums that could have made it here, but what’s a banana guy to do?
